10 Information About Famous Football Player Gökhan İnler

Gökhan İnler, a Swiss football player of Turkish origin, was born on June 27, 1984 in Olten, Switzerland. İnler, whose mother was from Samsun and his father, who died as a result of a traffic accident, was from Tekirdağ, started playing football at the age of 8 in Olten’s youth team.

İnler, who started his professional football career with Basel FC, was later transferred to Aarau FC. He played his first match in Aarau on 20 March 2005 against Grasshoppers in the Swiss Super League. Signing a contract with Zürich FC in January 2006, İnler was transferred to Udinese in 2007.

He won the Swiss championship with Zürich in the 2005-06 season and with Udinese in the 2007-08 season.

After spending four seasons with Udinese in the Italian A Series, İnler who transferred to Napoli in 2011, won the Coppa Italia twice here.

Player who played respectively in Leicester, Besiktas and Basaksehir after Napoli,played in both national team of Turkey  and Switzerland. He still plays for Adana Demirspor.

Inler who played in national team of Switzerland and Turkey Umit National Team twice, took part in the 2008 European Football Championship and 2nd World Cup. He was the captain of the FIFA World Cup in 2014.

In 2017, he founded the İnler Sports and Education Foundation (ISEV) in order to support the physical and mental development of all members of the society, especially children and young people, and organized aid campaigns for stray animals. Participating in social and support projects for the benefit of society within the body of İSEV, Inler still continues to work within the body of İSEV.

Gökhan İnler, who loves animals very much, has 3 dogs.
