The movie takes place in the 22nd century on the planet Pandora. There is a great amount of an element on this planet that is very rare and very valuable in the world. Pandora is the land of the Na’vi people, 3 meters long, blue humanoid looking (humanoid), embracing tribal culture, peaceful as long as they are not attacked.
A military company creates a program called avatar (human DNA hybrid) to study this planet with a group of scientists. With this program, people are turned into half human and half Na’vi. And it is planned to reach the planet with these hybrid bodies.
Private Jake Sully, who paralyzed from the waist down and is in a wheelchair, comes to the planet to enter an empty body called Avatar, which has the bodily features of the Na’vi race. Sully was chosen for a particular reason. Avatar was originally designed for his brother. When he dies, Sully, who is the closest name in terms of gene compatibility, is chosen instead. The purpose of the soldiers is to use Avatars to gain the trust of the locals and to persuade them to move from their homeland because the Na’vis have built their nest right above the richest underground resource. It is also their home, the oldest and wisest tree in the world. Na’vis are a free race, naive beings who have learned that humans are creatures full of evil but have no idea how much worse they can get. Over time, Sully gains their trust, learns their language and traditions, and begins to respect the world of living things.
In the avatar body, he is also freed from the physical constraints of the human body. He has no worldly restrictions. Now Jake has to make a choice. Either he will stay with his own race and fight the Na’vis (in return he is promised the opportunity to regain his real human legs) or he will stand up against people in the world in which he feels whole with his body.
We see that all the arguments of the astral dimension are used in the movie. The act of flying is seen as the main action. In the dimension we call a kind of dream world, people can freely make their decisions at the advanced gates of the dream dimension, just as in astral dreams. Spaces and colors are specially chosen. Their worship, symbolized by their beliefs, with their sacred trees and ritual prayer methods resembling dhikr, are similar to the worship of the human race. The main feature of the race is that their spirituality is very high. At this point, their performing worship activities with a common orientation is the scene of very special scenes.
