1)- “THE US FLAG IS WAVING IN SPACE??”
“If the moon had actually been visited, the American flag that appears in the photos could not wave because there is no air in outer space!” Yes, there is no air in outer space. That’s why they designed the flagpole in an L shape to keep the flag open and stable. In the photos, we can see the metal bar top of the flag.
2)- “THERE ARE NO STARS.”
“They are on the moon and the stars are not visible huh? Totally fake!” Imagine trying to take a picture of the stars at night with an old camera. Even better, you’re trying to capture a photo of your friend while the stars are visible in the back. You need to brighten your friend because it’s dark. You press the flash, but this time the stars are not visible! D’you know what I mean?
3)- “SHADOWS ARE NOT REAL.”
Conspiracy theorists think that where the sun is the only source of light, objects in the shade cannot be seen, so they are illuminated by an external light source (film set lights). However, earth is a stronger light source for the moon, just as the moon is a source of light on the earth.
4)- “WHY IS THE HORIZON LINE SO CLOSE?”
You can see only up to 2.4 km on a surface “lying flat” on the Moon, which is 1/4 the size of the Earth. Because they are round 🙂
5)- “THEY WENT TO THE MOON WITH A HUGE ROCKET, SO HOW DID THEY GET BACK FROM THERE WITH THAT TINY VEHICLE?”
Because of the gravity difference, rocket science and the physics 🙂
6)- “NEIL ARMSTRONG’S CAMERA IS NOT IN THE PHOTO!”
Conspiracy theorists claim that Armstrong, in the image of Aldrin’s helmet, was not holding a camera in his hand, and that this photograph was taken from outside by an external camera. However, because he needed an easily transportable camera while wearing that big spacesuit, the camera he used on the Moon was placed in his spacesuit.
7)- “ASTRONAUTS’ FOOTPRINT ON THE MOON AND THEIR ACTUAL SHOES DO NOT MATCH!”
Astronauts had to use a different boot that made it easier to move on bad ground and low gravity when landing on the lunar surface. For this reason, the pattern under the shoes and the pattern on the moon surface are different.
8)- “WHY DON’T WE GO TO THE MOON AGAIN?”
A manned landing on the Moon is a very costly process, and considerable investments are required for its sustainability. However, unmanned landings on the moon are still taking place.
9)- “OTHER COUNTRIES ARE HIDING THE LIE OF THE US LANDING ON THE MOON!”
China and Russia are the biggest rivals of the USA. If the landing on the moon was not real, these countries would easily try to prove it with the images they took with their satellites and the spacecrafts they sent.
10)- “THERE ARE VAN ALLEN RADIATION BELTS AND PEOPLE CANNOT PASS THROUGH THEM.”
We kept the most scientific and logical one for the last. The radiation rate astronauts exposed to, while passing through these belts is not more than the radiation rate a farmer exposed to while working in the field under the sun. This was said by James Van Allen, who discovered this event. In addition, the spacesuits that astronauts wore while passing through these belts and the body coverings of the Apollo vehicles were designed to be as resistant to radiation as possible.
