Distractibility is one of the most important problems we have encountered recently and it is a situation that can develop due to competition.
It is the self-manipulation of the child who cannot find enough space in the family. In fact, the distractibility that is frequently encountered in children of families who had to migrate is actually the acceptance of defeat from the beginning.
A child forced to migrate with her/his family is traumatized by thinking she/he is not wanted by other people, just like the child born in a crowded family who is bullied by her/his siblings and manipulates herself/himself due to unfair competition.
Migration affects people like being expelled from the mother’s womb. People who are exposed to migration will think that they are excluded, not wanted, and have no place in this world.
So migration is a traumatic situation and reminds us of our first trauma, namely the birth. People who were exposed to migration as a child are more prone to terrorism and violence than those who were not.
Terror is a revolt against all external pressure and power. Of course there is no acceptable side of terrorism, but I think it is useful to know that terrorists are actually poor children who rebel against the father, authority, power, and express the unconscious exclusion that traumatize other people for doing this revolt in the wrong way.
When people who are exposed to terrorism fail to repair it, they also cause traumas in other people’s lives. When the condition we call “post-traumatic stress disorder” is not treated, we will be living with people who can turn into social dynamite.
